Chinese solar module maker Huasun recently set a series of TUV SUD-certified efficiency records for both heterojunction (HJT) solar cells and modules. In early September, the company achieved a 25.69% power conversion efficiency in a solar cell and said it expects to maintain an average efficiency of 25.5% in mass production. A few days later, it also revealed its Himalaya G12-132 heterojunction (HJT) solar module has reached an output of 744.43 W and a power conversion efficiency of 23.96%.
In this pv magazine Webinar, we will try to know more about these remarkable efficiency increases and how the company is integrating these results in its commercial production with Christian Comes, director of business development Europe from Huasun Energy. The discussion will also seek to analyze in detail both cell and module technologies while taking into account production costs and the related learning curve.
We will also discuss more about the module tech’s outcome in terms of levelized cost of energy in large scale PV projects.
